Successful racing driver in the 1960's and early 70's who also ran his own Formula 3 and Formula 2 teams, bringing James Hunt, Jean-Pierre Jarier, Tom Pryce and Ian Taylor to prominence. Now Committee Member of British Racing Driver's Club.

First car at 6 months before he could walk was a Dinky Lincoln-Zephyr. Motor industry marketing career with Citroen and Mazda, in UK and France. Interrupted in 1976 reconnoitering London Sydney rally route by breaking neck in Bombay.

First car before he could walk at 31 years. Triumph Herald 12/50. Loves motorcars.
   
  Chief Medical Officer - Ken Walker
Consultant Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeon. Has been involved with the medical aspect of motor sport for 40 years. Began as Medical Officer for the BRSCC at Brands Hatch.

Chief Medical Officer for the BRSCC for 15 years and was instrumental in developing the first ever Rescue Unit, a proactive measure fire-fighting and containment with the late Basil Tye.

Ken Walker was invited to join the then Medical Committee of the RAC in 1968 and in 1970 appointed as Medical Consultant.

Chief Medical Officer at the Brands Hatch GP and was CMO for the RAC Rally for 8 years.

Presently Member of the Motor Sports Council and will be retiring from Chairmanship of the Medical Advisory Panel and as Medical Consultant to the MSA.
