  Join the Motorsport Endeavour Club
       
 

Many people with disabilities would love to participate in car and motorcycle sport but feel excluded. The sole purpose of the Motorsport Endeavour Club is to involve people with a wide range of disabilities in a programme of motorsport events and experiences.

Who can join?

It is not exclusivly for drivers. If you are unable to drive there will be many other roles you could play - as riders, navigators, marshals, time keepers, administrators and spectators. Previous experience is not a pre-requisite to joining the Club as you could enjoy familiarisation and training days as part of your membership.

Enrol in the Club and you will be joining some of the biggest names in motorsport who are all founder members of Motorsport Endevour. Each has a passion for the fast lane, all are committe to helping others to share their enthusiasm for cars, though their backgrounds are varied for among the members are a;

  • Farmer
  • F1 Marshal  
  • Website designer
  • Chemist
  • Disability consultant
  • Wine trade expert
  • Professor in Fine Arts
  • Musician
  • Le Mans Jaguar driver
  • IT expert
  • Racing car designer
  • Fighter pilot
  • Accountant  
  • D-Type Jaguar owner
  • Rally driver
  • Author
  • Photographer
  • And one of the Mini drivers from the original film of The Italian Job.
   
  What do I gain as a member of the Club?
   
 

You will be offered the chance to visit top motorsport locations including Formula 1 operations, technical centres and race circuits.

You will qualify for discounts when participating in events. You will receive a regular newsletter as well as preview information about the Motorsport Endeavour programme, which will include:

  • Navigation rallying
  • Road rallying
  • Off-road events
  • Hill climbs
  • Trials
  • Autotest
  • Visits to Motorsports Centres
   
 

All events will be undertaken in conjunction with Motorsport Endeavour’s Competitor Advisory Group that comprises people with a range of disabilities and ages. Events are supported by a medical team headed by Ken Walker, Medical Consultant to the Motorsport Association. Applicants have to be confirmed by the
Medical Committee.

Motorsport Endeavour events will be affiliated to the MSA (Motor Sports Association) and the ACU (Autocycle Union).

Motorsport Endeavour is establishing links with educational organisations, including the National College for Motorsport, and with companies in the motorsport industry to encourage more opportunities for people with disabilities to build careers in this sector.
